Directions to the take out area at Plese Flats for the Lower Spokane River.
From I-90,take Maple Street Exit. Go North approximately 4 miles until you come to Francis. Take left on Francis and continue to 9 Mile Falls Road. Francis automatically turns into 9 Mile Falls Road, so stay in the right hand lane headed West. Look for brown and white sign that says Riverside State Park- Bowl and Pitcher. Turn left on Rifle Club Road to Aubrey White Road. Turn right on Aubrey White Road. Go 1.2 miles and take left at Plese Flats Park.
Directions to the campground meeting area for the Clark Fork are as follows... From Coeur d’Alene, Take I-90 East (all freeway miles) to Lozeau/Quartz Exit 55. At the bottom of the off ramp of Lozeau /Quartz exit 55, take a right and go approximately 1/8 mile and look for the Wiley E. Waters sign to the left for parking. Note: Lozeau Quartz Exit is 55 miles into Montana from the Idaho border. Allow 2 hour drive from Coeur d’Alene . We meet a 9:00AM Pacific time. Please note that Montana is Mountain Time, but we still keep our schedule on Pacific Standard Time of 9:00 AM.
