Clark Fork Rapids

Put-In Site We meet at Wiley headquarters and take you to our put-in spot from there.

Alberton Gorge: Although much of the 340 mile tributary is quite calm, the Alberton Gorge is one of our most exciting trips, boasting class 3 and 4 rapids. This area of Montana also has some of the best wildlife in the Northwest. We often see bald eagles, beavers, deer and every so often we run across elk, moose, even bears! You never know what we’ll run into, but it’s bound to be exciting.

Tumbleweed This is one of our two main rapids that we hit on this trip. It’s sure to get you splashed!

Fang This is the other main rapid along the route. These class 3 and 4 rapids are some of the most exciting that we ride!

Triple Bridges This is another notably big rapid. There are some smaller rapids along the way, but these three are sure to give us a wild ride.

Sandy Beach This area is a great place to set up raft games and water slides off the side of the boat. It’s a great opportunity to enjoy the water when we’re out of the rapids. On the full-day trip, this is where we stop for lunch before hitting the larger rapids.
