Spokane River Rafting
Put-in Site Generally, we meet right near the TJ Meenach bridge in low water or on Water Ave. in high water.
Insider Tip: We will be going around “The Big Bend” on the Spokane River. There is a beautiful wall of swallows nests right in this area. We also pass by a disc golf course, Spokane Rifle Range, and Fairmont Memorial Park.
Bowl and Pitcher: This popular spot is made from lava rock that water soon eroded to make it look like a pitcher about to pour. These are class III rapids, but the more mellow sections give our rafters the chance to kick back and enjoy the natural scenery and wildlife. If you are looking for a picnic spot or camping grounds to visit after your scenic rafting trip, this is a beautiful place to explore on its many loop trails and the well-known swinging bridge. [To reserve a campsite, click here] In fact, this park just celebrated its 100 year anniversary! Celebrate this part of Spokane history by enjoying everything the area has to offer. For more information, here are some helpful sites: Washington Trails Association, Washington State Park
Devil’s Toenail: It may have an intimidating name, but there’s nothing to fear! This is one of the area’s most popular and exciting rafting areas, boasting class III rapids along the scenic route. This is a great opportunity to get in some bigger white water. Be ready to get wet!
Leisure Time After this, the rest of the trip is fairly calm. We get a chance to kick back and enjoy the weather, the water, and nature. But that’s not all! Our tour guides have a whole list of games to play on the boat in the calm and in the rapids, but be ready to get wet!
